The Faculty of Law at Ajman University was established to be one of the edifices of legal education at the local and regional levels. The Faculty of Law has roots dating back to 2003, where the College started its first steps by launching the Bachelor of Law program, which was presented to the Academic Accreditation Authority at the Ministry of Education, and obtained the status of eligibility for academic accreditation in 2005. This program has evolved through multiple inputs in response to the requirements of accreditation. It contributed to the renewal of its accreditation in 2011. A branch of the College was established at the University's headquarters in the Emirate of Fujairah.
At a later stage in the development of the Faculty of Law, Ajman University, the College started to offer master's programs in law, starting with the launch of the Master of Public Law program in the second semester of the academic year 2008-2009, and then launched the master's program in private law in the first semester From the academic year 2009-2010. The Master of Public and Private Law programs received final accreditation in May 2015, and the College launched the Doctor of Philosophy in Law program in the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018 after receiving the initial accreditation in September 2017.
