Mrs. Sahar F.MakkyA lecturer and a staff member in the Architecture Engineering department of Ajman University in UAE since 2003, she has got a MSc. in Architecture Engineering from Science &Technology University, Sudan -2006, received her Bachelor degree from University of Technology, Iraq - 1986. She worked in the Iraqi Consultancy owned by Architect Rifat Chadirji, while lecturing as a full time staff member. Through her architectural journey, she has designed several presidential, residential & commercial projects, as well as publishing papers about the architectural identity and heritage conservation in several international conferences. Her passion towards designing and teaching timeless architecture, has been backed up by the knowledge of sustainability and green economy. For that, she has been a member in national and international teams working on sustainable architecture competitions and workshops.
