I started work as an engineer with Plessey Components, UK, in 1969 and moved to Iraq in 1972. After 19 years of academic, technical and administrative work, I left Iraq in 1991 to work at universities in Algeria, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates. In 1999, I joined Ajman University as a faculty member and in the year 2000 I was appointed as the Dean of the College of Engineering. In addition to academic, technical and administrative work, which began in 1972 and until now I have been involved in numerous consultations, related to academia and industry
