Dr. Amjad Al Taki graduated from University of Jordan, Faculty of Dentistry in 1999. He started his postgraduate education at Department of Orthdodontics at Marmara University, Turkey and completed his PhD in December 2002. In 2004, he joined Ajman University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics as an assistant professor. In 2012 he became Associate Professor. Dr. Al taki served as the Head of the Department of Orthodontics between 2006 and 2013. He was involved in teaching and clinical training undergraduate and graduate students in all fields of Orthodontics, in addition to involvement advanced programs for MFDS Trainees.

Dr. Al taki is in the editorial board and peer reviewer of several international orthodontic journals. He is the author of multiple scientific articles in regional and international peer reviewed journals. Dr. Al taki is an international member of American association of orthodontists and world federation of orthodontics.
