An academic, researcher, and leader in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical care. Contributed as founding member in the development from scratch of two internationally recognized faculties of pharmacy (School of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland, and College of Pharmacy at Qatar University), and developed (and taught) clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice courses and curricula. Has expert knowledge of the requirements for curriculum development and accreditation standards; and worked diligently to link academia with stakeholders to ensure seamless and relevant teaching, training, and application. Inspirational teacher and expert strategist in educational pedagogy. Introduced Pharmaceutical Care in undergraduate courses in two faculties of pharmacies. Developed and coordinated Continuing Professional Development courses and acquired significant expertise in the accreditation processes of CPD programs.
