30 years in University Management
Ahmed Ankit is a Professor of Applied Linguistics and Communication. He joined Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University as the Director of Collaborative Research on January 2, 2017. On December 28, 2018, he was promoted to the position of Dean of Research and Doctoral Studies. Previously, he was the Vice President for External Relations and Cultural Affairs at Ajman University, UAE, where he supervised collaboration with international organizations and academic institutions, chaired the Curricula and Study Plan Committee, and contributed significantly to the licensure and accreditation of academic programs. He has been active in academia with a focus on teaching and research in Research Issues in e-Learning, Philosophy of Research, Qualitative Methods, Applied Linguistics, Communication and Translation, and E-learning. He has presented papers at many international academic events and chaired several conferences.
Prof. Ankit is the Chair of the Scientific Committee of Innovation Arabia 12 and 13.
