Professor Aboudi J.Hassan is currently a professor of Linguistics and Media Translation in the Faculty of Mass Communication and Humanities at Ajman University (AU) in Ajman - (UAE). He is an instructor of Media Translation, Communication Skills in English , English for Media and Media English . He has taught and is still teaching English language -related courses in the above-mentioned college like study skills. Earlier he was an Associate professor in King Fahd Higher School of Translation in Tangiers-Morocco. During the late 80's, he worked as a part-time instructor in Salford University (UK). He has authored and coauthored a number of research papers on tense, aspect and translation in both Arabic and English.His current interests center on issues related to language of newspapers and lexeme selectivity.
