Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the social function for university youth use of internet techniques in society, according to some variables, by using a questionnaire. The study sample consisted of 450 Jordan university students. The study found that there were no significant differences (α = 0.05) attributed to the effects of all variables except for the place where the internet was used and the website type.
