Abstract

Strategic knowledge management (SKM) is the concept of strategically codifying and personalizing aspects of knowledge across an organization for increasing overall performance. Related studies reveal that the management of strategic knowledge invariably demands ‘codification and ‘personalization. Codification in SKM can be supported via online information infrastructure such as intranets, organizational wikis, shared databases, document management systems, and enterprise information portals.
