Abstract

Solar energy represents an ideal type of renewable energy. Its first discoveries are related to Alexandre Edmond Becquerel in 1839. Solar Products are bound to some functional constraints which affect appearance, weight, using and others. due to the existence of basic components such as solar cells (a source of energy) and batteries to store the energy; such obligated components turned the products to be more complicated to the users than usual with often unaesthetic appearance. This research aims to reach new features and criteria of solar energy products design and apply the results in designing modern generations of solar products to be more attractive and usable by the general public. The more discovery of solar energy uses through the suggested designed products will be a benefit in the UAE and the Arab society as a whole, especially in case of applying the research results in design one of solar powered products.
