The performance of UWB radio propagation links is experimentally investigated by considering communications between body-worn base units and off-body access points. Radio channel parameters are derived and analysed for different sectors of the human body. System-level modelling, based on signal to noise ratio (SNR) and bit error rate (BER) is analytically performed on the basis of multiband orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) system.",
