Abstract
The diffraction of an electromagnetic plane wave by a perfectly conducting strip in a biisotropic medium is considered. The problem is solved by using the Wiener-Hopf technique and the asymptotic methods. The diffracted field is shown to be the sum of a field produced by the two edges of the strip and a field due to the interaction of the two edges.
