Abstract

Packaging is an integral component of the pharmaceutical industry. Today, the traditional manufacturing process appears to be risky, as it entails the possibility of human error. Furthermore, in terms of labor costs, it is not very cost-effective. In the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, artificial intelligence has enormous promise. Machine learning and computer vision are slowly becoming viable alternatives to traditional methods for quality control. Cognitive technology and robotics automation is a world that is both disruptive and transformative. Artificial intelligence and robotic process automation have firmly established themselves in various worldwide businesses, including packaging. Artificial intelligence's expansion in packaging and distribution is no less exciting, given that it is a crucial component and contributor to the rise of intelligent warehouses. Different AI-assisted solutions, including robots, are used in many aspects, from product designing to packaging and distribution.
