Cancer Care 4.0/5.0 draws inspiration from the technological advancements of Industry 4.0/5.0, which emphasizes digitalization and intelligence-based solutions. This transition integrates cutting-edge technologies like internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and big data analytics to revolutionize healthcare systems. The influence of these innovations has led to Healthcare 4.0/5.0, enabling more adaptive, resilient, and efficient healthcare operations. By leveraging these technologies, Cancer Care 4.0/5.0 aims to enhance cancer treatment and management through intelligent, data-driven connected approaches. This chapter explores the pivotal role of IoT in shaping Healthcare 4.0/5.0 and Cancer Care 4.0/5.0. It highlights the synergy between IoT and advanced technologies like AI, 5G/6G, and WiFi-7, enabling real-time data analytics, remote monitoring, and intelligent healthcare delivery. With advancements like AI-driven IoT networks and 6G, the future of healthcare promises enhanced early cancer detection, personalized care, and innovations such as telesurgery and predictive analytics, fundamentally reshaping healthcare ecosystems.
