Abstract

Over the last decade, information systems research has been preoccupied with examining the pre-adoption, use and impact of information technology. A great majority of the research efforts has been focused towards studying the cognitive processes associated with an individual's pre adoption activities, adoption decisions, and initial user behaviours. In recent years, post adoption studies have started to emerge in different literatures. This paper highlights the importance of information technology's post adoption stage and the innovation it can bring in the business processes. Positivist case study is employed to explore the relationship between post adoption operations and process innovation.
