Abstract
This essay presents and attempts to refute some of the main Creationist arguments against the theory of evolution. Creationists hold, among other arguments, that evolution is a theory, not a fact. This argument may be disputed inasmuch it is clarified what a theory is. Creationists also hold that evolution is not falseable; that the fossil record is incomplete; and that natural selection cannot generate some complex structures, especially the eye and flagella; these arguments have also given rise to the neo-Creationist movement called "Intelligent Design".
