Abstract

Design of a dual-band out-of-phase power divider (PD) exhibiting inherent impedance transformation at arbitrary frequency ratios is presented in this paper. The proposed PD is augmented with an effective design strategy to obtain wide band-ratios and wide impedance ratios, concurrently. The analytical design procedure is obtained using classical even-odd mode approach. The proposed design is validated through a prototype on Rogers RO5880 substrate. An excellent agreement between the EM simulation and measurement results is a testament to the robustness of the proposed design.
