abstract = "The main purpose of this project is to design and implement a low cost Arduino bio-shield. Bio-shields are modular circuit boards that can be mounted on top of the Arduino kit in order to enhance its capabilities. Proposed shield can be used for the acquisition of bio-electric signals such ECG, EMG, EEG and EOG with the help of an Arduino Uno. Scope of this project includes the design of bio-amplifiers according to the bio-signal characteristics and practical implementation including fabrication of printed circuit boards. Three bio-shields (ECG, EMG and EOG) have been designed and implemented using surface mounted components.",
