Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive methodology for generating a dataset for localization experiments in a controlled environment. We utilized a Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) with LabVIEW for signal transmission and an Unmanned Ground Vehicle(UGV) equipped with a receiving antenna and OptiTrack cameras to establish ground truth in a 3×3-meter grid divided into 9 blocks. The experimental setup involved a moving UGV with a receiving antenna, a stationary transmitting antenna at the grid's edge, and OptiTrack cameras for precise ground truth measurements.
