Abstract

Introduction: Nanotechnology is one of the most facilitated technology that has been found in the recent past. It has been used enormously in different fields like medicine, material science and physics. Silver nanoparticles play a vital role in nanomedicine. Even though several noble metals were used for different purposes, silver nanoparticles were focused in the application of the diagnosis of cancer. Materials and Methods: Cumin oil mediated silver nanoparticles were prepared using 1 milli molar of silver nitrate. The prepared nanoparticles were confirmed using UV-visible spectrophotometer. The nanoparticles were analysed for its morphological characters using TEM the size and shape of the nanoparticles clearly analysed using this technique. Results: The visual colour change observed in the cumin oil solution shows the presence of silver nanoparticles. Silver nanoparticles were observed from 360 nm to 460 nm in UV-Visible spectroscopy. In TEM the silver nanoparticles observed were spherical in shape with ranging from 2-30 nm. Conclusion: Cumin oil mediated silver nanoparticles can further be used for management of diabetes, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis and to boost immune system as well as for Cancer.
