N2 - Donation tracking systems streamline the management of donations by consolidating all relevant information into a central database. Most existing methods for managing and tracking donations are centralized and pose single point of failure problems. Furthermore, such systems confront several other challenges, including restricted data accessibility, security, immutability, confidentiality, and data provenance. This paper presents a blockchain-based system for tracking and tracing donations. The inherent features of blockchain in terms of transparency, openness, security, and accountability revolutionize the ways transactions and data related to donations are handled, stored, and processed by the existing centralized approaches. The proposed system is only accessible to registered and approved parties. Our system proposes and implements a set of smart contracts to govern business processes among the involved stakeholders. Through testing of the proposed system, it is assured that the proposed system is highly reliable, affordable, and trusted.
