Abstract

This study examines the under-research phenomenon surrounding big data analytics (BDA) in human resource management (HRM), internal learning, and competitive advantage, offering valuable theoretical and managerial insights. Drawing on the knowledge-based view (KBV), this study proposes and empirically tests a model that highlights how BDA enhances internal learning and, in turn, contributes to sustained competitive advantage. The findings reveal that BDA in HRM positively influences internal learning, contributing to sustained competitive advantage. This research demonstrates that organizations leveraging BDA in HRM to support internal learning are more prepared to adapt to market changes and sustain a competitive advantage.
