Abstract
We use the modified homotopy transformation analysis (MHATM) method to solve the modified Kawahara equation. The proposed method provides excellent accuracy for the modified Kawahara equation compared to other standard approaches and an accurate solution. Graphical and numerical results have shown that the MHATM is a very easy-to-use and powerful technique for engineering mathematics and physics.
