Abstract
Aim: The absolute aim of the research is to find the antibacterial properties of Lodhra bark mediated silver nanoparticles against oral pathogens. Materials and Methods: The plant extract is collected and dried up and powdered and mixed with water which is used to synthesize nanoparticles. The synthesized nanoparticles were tested for its antimicrobial activity against oral pathogens using agar well diffusion method. Results and Discussion: From the synthesized nanoparticles antibacterial and antifungal activity of oral pathogens is done and the zone of inhibition is shown. Conclusion: The silver nanoparticles has an effect on Lactobacillus sp and Candida albicans.
