Abstract
Healthcare systems in developing countries continue to face considerable challenges in providing high-quality and affordable diagnosis and treatment services for the majority of the population. Recent increase in the use of smart mobile phones in developing countries and the affordable prices of internet access represent an unprecedented opportunity for using online delivery of various services including healthcare. Despite the many benefits of telemedicine and E-Health, people in developing countries remain skeptical about online health delivery technologies. To assess the degree of acceptance of online health platforms by the public in developing countries, a market research was conducted through an online survey, targeting a population sample of 114 individuals comprised of 47 females and 67 males. The analysis of the responses showed that 92.55% of the surveyed sample accept and trust online applications for healthcare delivery.
