Abstract

It is very difficult for school bus drivers to monitor and track children when they pick-up or to drop-off children without human errors which may lead to tragedy or even death. We have developed a school bus tracking and students monitoring system which provide a comprehensive and highly reliable integrated services needed for school buses to be tracked, monitored and inquired on Google maps in real time. The system offers a web and SMS services so that a real time data and information such as the location of the bus, boarding and disembarking status of students riding the bus are shared with parents and school administrators in real-time. The possibility of missing children's during school bus transportation or accidentally left them sleeping inside the bus is eliminated.
