Abstract

This paper studies the generalized resonant nonlinear Schrödinger's equation with time-dependent coefficients. The evolution and dispersion terms are also nonlinear in addition to the resonant nonlinearity and the power law nonlinearity terms. Both bright and dark soliton solutions are searched for in this paper. Using the ansatz method, an exact 1-soliton solution is obtained. The constraint conditions for the existence of solitons are also deduced.
